Can't seem to open or import PDFs

Hi. I’m brand new. Previous user of Illustrator and Affinity Designer. So, I’ve tried to open three different PDFs and each one of them exploded without opening. Any ideas? “Vectornator quit unexpectedly.” That’s what it says. I tried it using import, too, instead of just /File/Open. Same thing.

Hey! Never mind. I got the latest 4.8.x version from the App Store and I can now import these PDFs. Cool.
