Hi there! I’m a new Vectornator user!
I understand how to create e move guides, but I can’t find a way to set a guide in a specific position - for example at 100 px from the border or at 25% of the document.
Is there a way to do it?
Hello avalloneandrea, here is what you need to do.
- Open Layers tab
- Tap on a Guides button
- Create a line (hold the screen with another finger to keep it straight)
- Set X and Y for the line
- Exit the Guide Mode
- Make sure that Snap to Guides are enabled in the tree dots (…) menu, as well as Smart guides
Here is the video how it works:
Hi @alexander thank you for your help.
I forgot to say I’m using Vectornator on macOS, can you help me on that platform too?
Hello, sure! It’s pretty much the same:
Thank you so much, it works now!
I didn’t know I could add a guide this way, I was dragging a new guide from the rulers.
By the way, guides added from the rulers can’t be moved using the inspector panel, they show a 0 as x and y values and any change to that value is ineffective.
