On the Mac, renaming layers has a bug. Vectornator triggers shortcuts while typing letters in for a name that correspond with a shortcut key. The main one I’ve run across (I’m a new user) is “r”.

The team has been hard at work and are delighted to announce that this issue has been resolved in the latest app version 4.8.3 
I highly recommend that you download this new update and check out the various improvements that have been introduced.
