I am a surface pattern designer and I’ve been seaching for an app that will allow us to sum and subtract the X and Y position of an object or grouped objects for fast and easy seamless pattern creation.
For example, if I create a 2000x2000 canvas and I place an object at one of the corners and its X position is “-234.89 px”, if I could duplicate the object in place then on the “Style” panel enter “-234.89 px+2000px” on the X field and the app automatically places the duplicated object at “1765.11” px it would be a huge time saver.
I know that there are other ways to create seamless patterns but this is by far the easiest, fastest way to create them on the desktop and no app for ipad offers that (that I’m aware of). It would be a huge advantage for vectornator imho.
