Hi,I’m working on a MacBook Pro, I want to use the “smoothing” feature on the right in “appearance” below opacity, Blur and corner radius. It’s greyed out, I’ve tried highlighting but no joy, How do I make it live ?

The slider to control smoothness is available only for the Pencil and Brush tools. It will become active as soon as you select one of these tools.
Check out the video to see an example 
The smoothness of your path can also be adjusted after drawing. Select your path and the smoothness slider will appear inside the Inspector.
