I’d like to stop the canvas auto rotating when I turn my iPad so that it mimics how Procreate handles auto rotate. That way only the tools would rotate. Then I’d like a toggle I can switch between the “Procreate-mode” and the default rotation.
Hello ShadowMkll, this is what you need to do:
- Open the app and go to the editor
- Tap tree dots menu and tap on Settings
- Open Canvas on the left and turn off Canvas rotation on the right

Thank you for responding to my question. This option turns off all rotation of the canvas but does not stop the actual rotation I’m talking about. When in Procreate the physical rotation of my device will not zoom out or move the canvas at all. Instead it will shift my view of the canvas from a 16:9 horizontal view to a 9:16 vertical view moving the respective tools while seamlessly maintaining the area I’m working on in place. In Vectornator when I physically rotate the iPad the canvas will shift my work area to a different part of the screen. I’ve attached reference photos of each.
