Color a single character inside a text block

I create a text block with some words. Is it possible to select a single character and change its color?
I have not found a way to do this effectively so any help appreciated : )

Hi there @pezq,

An easy way to achieve this would be to select your text → create outlines from text → select desired character → adjust stroke/fill settings.

Thanks Helen. I am assuming no way to edit after creating the outlines
