How to contraint ratio of some shape

I have imported an svg item, and I want to change its size while keeping the dimensions (i.e. keeping the ratios of the width and height). How can I do that?

Hi @roiho and welcome to Vectornator Forum, I you want change sizes of svg or a simple shape you can use the handles or write the values in the height and width input text. If you click the padlock you can lock or unlock the proportion of the shape.

Thanks for the answer. Actually, my svg file doesn’t have these properties.
The only way I managed was to change the values of w and h in this panel while keeping the lock there. Though I couldn’t find a way to do it with the mouse.

Can you share your svg please? However you can use the input text for H and W.

Thanks @roiho, which device do you use and what’s the version of Vectornator?

Hey @roiho,

Press the Shift ⇧ key while dragging on any of a shape’s selection handles to keep the shape’s height and width at the same ratio.

Best,
Oksana
